After doing some search in yahoo answers about muslim not able to draw humans and animals or objects, i’m still confused about the meaning of ‘animate objects’ or ’something with/without soul’

Some answers voiced that its ok to draw trees.
Trees have no soul?
no plant soul?
if trees can be drawn, can other plants be drawn?

What defines a soul of an object?
Can a muslim draw a robot?
Can a muslim draw a computer monitor screen then add 2 dots and a curve line? yes, it happened to be a smiley.

I also read some answers that its ok to draw body without head.
I also read that if students were to draw in school to learn, they can draw different parts separately as they will have no life.
heres my question: can i just draw a head only since nobody can live without a body?

what about monsters? they are stuffs that doesn’t exist on earth.
if a muslim were to draw a monster he/she created out of himself/herself how is that object a soul?
because it has legs?
because it has hands?
isn’t that merely perceptions that something has soul have?
a bacterium cell doesn’t have all those yet we can’t see they have no soul that will be a living thing without a soul.
a dragon drawn can be robotic on the inside.
isn’t an unseen monster/creature dead right from the start?

yes, i’m aware that it can still be a form of imitating muslim god’s creation of living things.
then again i’m puzzled, how is it then is considered imitation?
because you added a face? a smiley? = living thing?
can i draw and design a cool looking string then i imagine it to be a snake?
yea, a eyeless snake, not possible that its a living thing right?

so my question boils down to the definition of living things, animate objects, inanimate objects, and soul.
to me 1st answer: you the one confused.
Not only god, it applies to not able to draw humans and animals.

you know in the yahoo chat window, there is the standard smiley faces, right? well yesterday, i was messing around with my girlfriend trying to play hangman, and i was trying to make a hang mans body in the chat window… so i put o-+ and an animated girls face showed up! so i figured that it was meant to match the sex symbols, so i tried the guys version o->, and a little guys face showed up! so, my question is, are there any more hidden ones that you know of?

We split last 8 months ago but have been texting everyday she left her only first serious bf who she came over from poland with to our work place for me but after a few months she went back to him saying things with us was to fast as we got a place together but since she went back to him we have been texting everyday.
He aint got a clue whats going off, the texts i get are her asking me everyday how i am and things asking me everyday what im doing that evening or weekend and i get alot of smiley faces and hugs and all that and at weekends see sends me texts sayinh ‘hi babe or goodmorning babe while shes with him, we work together but dont speak face to face as its arkward there but we text alot a day but i told her i still felt something and she was kinda shocked as she said she thought i just liked her and nothing more but then i asked if she missed me and she said ‘yes and she misses spending time alone with me.
We arranged a while ago to meet and she said she wanted to as she liked me but since we both said what we felt she said she still wants to meet and now everyday i get her sending kiss faces or a kiss animated character on messages and today she sent it twice, i asked if she was happy that we are meeting next week and she said yes and truth is im happy to meet i know its bad as its behined her bf’s back and we first met before we got together behined his back but do u think there is a big chance something will happen when we meet and shes still into me??

i have yet to find a good anime….suggestions?

i want a romantic anime; but not a REALLY romantic one. i dont want one with fifty bazillion over-emotional speeches about feelings crammed into every episode, and i dont want an animated soap-oprah where everyone has slept with everyone else’s siblings either. i just want an innocent yet funny, romatic anime…..similar to ouran high school host club…also, i would really like it in english….please dont suggest something depressing….i want something that will leave me feeling happy and smiley later….the whole reason i like anime is to relieve stress and when i watch depressing ones it makes me more stressed out so please dont suggest a weird one…..i’ve already watched fruits basket, ouran high school host club, and some other stuff too…….also, i dont want a super-perferted one, i want it innocent as in PG – PG-13 ish, if they curse a little its one thing but i dont want to listen to people talk about hormaonal pysical relationships with other people , i just want to watch a good funny romance anime with likeable charactars that you can relate to, a good story, and lots of laughs….suggestions please?

the texts she sends are smiley faces and hugs and asking what im upto everynight and sometimes now sends me kiss faces or animated kiss faces.
We split last sept as she went back to her previous bf who she left for me but he works at our place aswell but he aint got a clue about any of this but we have arranged to meet next week as she says she misses spending time alone with me.

hey guys!
i have troubles with GIF (animated) pictures.. ok i downloaded a file from internet and its animated but has a white background. now i want to get rid off the background and make it transparent and also have all the animation.. so i tried opening the GIF (with backrgound) file in imageready and made all my frames transparent but when i tried saving it, it said i cannot save it as GIF.. it let me save it as photoshop file so how do i make my downloaded GIF image transparent and have all my animation?

I copied an emoticon from MSN Messenger from a friend a few months ago and I have searched everywhere through many different search engines to find it but was not successful. It was a medium sized ‘yellow’ emoticon and not quite a ’smiley’ but looks like it was from the family of ’smileys’ possibly. The emoticon was of a yellow smiley like character ‘giggling’ with his/her hands covering her mouth as she giggled. (animated) Also, the emoticon would pop up on my msn messenger whenever I typed in “hehe”. Could someone please let me know where I could find this emoticon? I would very much appreciate it.
I found one almost like it but it’s a very tiny version of it, want the larger one(animated)
